The complete edited manuscript you receive from AJE is covered by our quality guarantee. If you are not satisfied with the editing of your manuscript, or if a journal rejects your paper on the basis of English language errors, we will re-edit your document for free. 

Premium Editing customers benefit from unlimited re-edits: we will continue to re-edit your document for free until it has been published.

For Standard Editing, material added to your paper after our editors work on your manuscript is not included in our guarantee. We recommend that you submit your final draft when you make a new order with AJE. If you need to add content or make substantial changes after receiving comments from the journal editor or reviewers, you may resubmit your paper for a discounted re-edit. 

We’re committed to helping you succeed. If a journal mentions English as a problem in a manuscript that we edit, we want to know. Please contact us with the file that you sent to the journal and all the comments from the journal. We will reply with a solution within 1 United States business day. 

If you are not satisfied with our editing, we will work with you until you are satisfied. Please provide one or two specific examples or a few details about what is unsatisfactory.

Translation with editing certificate

All complete manuscripts submitted for our Translation service are eligible to receive an AJE editing certificate. Premium Translation includes unlimited free re-editing of your English text and one additional free translation of up to 1500 new words.

Manuscript Formatting that meets journal requirements

We guarantee that your paper will be formatted according to your target journal’s guidelines, and we will provide comments describing any missing elements that are required for submission. If the editor of your target journal mentions any problems with the formatting of your paper, we will re-format your paper for free.

Figures and illustrations that meet journal specifications

We guarantee that the formatted figures and tables that you receive will meet the stated specifications of the journal that you selected. If your target journal has any issues with the preparation of your figures or tables, we will resolve those issues for free. In addition, if you are dissatisfied with any aspect of the appearance of your formatted figures, we will work with you until you are happy with the presentation of your data. 

Our Illustration Service provides you with original illustrations, graphs, and diagrams based on your ideas. This is an iterative process: we will continue to adjust the illustration, graph, or diagram until you are happy with the presentation of your data or ideas.
